At Atlas Clean, we understand the importance of a well-maintained and healthy home. Our founder and CEO, John Mounger, has a deep-rooted background in the construction and rebuilding industry, which has shaped his commitment to providing top-notch services for homeowners.
 

Growing up on a cattle and cotton farm in Lettsworth, Louisiana, John learned valuable lessons about Maintaining equipment, and buildings and solving problems. However, it was the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005 that truly opened his eyes to the significance of maintaining a home from the ground up. John rebuilt over 600 homes in the wake of the devastating hurricane, witnessing firsthand the impact that proper maintenance can have on the longevity and health of a home.
 

John's dedication to rebuilding and rehabbing homes continued during the Great Flood of 2016, where he played a crucial role in restoring affected properties. In 2017, he was part of the rebuilding efforts in Texas, successfully putting together 1700 homes within a tight timeline of just 3 1/2 months. The following year, John traveled to Puerto Rico, where he spent eight months rebuilding and refurbishing 3500 homes. This hands-on experience allowed him to gain a comprehensive understanding of every aspect of home construction and maintenance.
 

In 2019 and 2020, John was involved in the GLO rebuild in Texas, overseeing the construction of over 120 homes from the ground up within a 12-month period. During this time, he also worked on military bases, where he honed his skills in various areas, including concrete work and roofing. Through these experiences, John recognized the importance of not only building solid and well-crafted houses but also ensuring that homeowners receive the necessary preventative maintenance to protect their investment for years to come.
 

With this vision in mind, John founded Atlas Clean, taking the next step in providing consumers with a comprehensive solution for their home maintenance needs. Our purpose is not only to ensure that homeowners have a clean and healthy living environment but also to extend the lifespan of their homes and keep them looking beautiful inside and out. We strive to provide exceptional services that go beyond surface-level cleaning, focusing on preventative maintenance that will contribute to the long-term health and longevity of your home.
